Collection days for waste and recyclables will change in April

Kawasaki Seikatsu Kankyo Jigyosho (Kawasaki Life Environment Office), which currently covers some districts in Kawasaki Ward and all of Saiwai Ward, will close on March 31, 2019.
All of Kawasaki Ward will be under the Nambu Seikatsu Kankyo Jigyosho (Nambu Life Environment Office)after April 1.
Considering the balance of the collection amount for each day of the week, the collection days for waste and recyclables will change in Kawasaki-ku and Saiwai-ku. There is no change in the types of waste and recyclables collected and their collection frequency.

These Japanese classes are a place where you can not only learn daily conversation, reading, and writing, but also exchange experiences and information together with other foreigners and volunteers.
You can join the class anytime if space is available.
Such classes are held at Kyoiku Bunka Kaikan, each City Hall branch, Fureai-kan and Kokusai Koryu Center.
Open to foreigners living in or working in Kawasaki city, attending a school in Kawasaki, and returnees.
Child-care service available at some facilities.
Lesson fee: 540yen for each session at Kokusai Koryu center. Please pay for all sessions you take at the beginning of the term.
Lesson fee: Free for the rest of the venues. (Need to pay the activity fee or for materials at some venues.)
